Pine Valley Equestrian Loop

Dixie National Forest officials have announced that the Pine Valley Recreation Area will be closed for the rest of the 2025 season.

"The Pine Valley Recreation Area, trails, campgrounds, and guard station will remain closed to the public throughout the remainder of the 2025 season due to resource damage caused by the Forsyth Fire. Public and firefighter safety are high priority at this time," says a statement posted on the Dixie National Forest social media sites." The lightning-caused Forsyth Fire was first detected on June 19, 2025 and as of 7/9/25 has burned over 14,000 acres and is under 50% contained.
