Gunlock Trails

This is an 6-8 mile loop south of Gunlock Reservoir on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). There is parking along side Gunlock Road one mile south of the dam. The trail combines a small slot canyon and two-track roads behind the reservoir to make a loop that ends up at the north end of the lake.

The slot canyon changes after each monsoon season and your equine may encounter rocks it will need to cross. Also be sure to check weather and avoid the slot canyon after heavy rains.
