Pine Valley Equestrian Campground Restoration
Work Project
2026
Pine Valley Recreation Area
The Forsyth Fire in the summer of 2025 burned 15,675 acres and destroyed the beloved Pine Valley Equestrian Campground. Restoration work and planning have been underway for months, and in October 2026 we finally had the opportunity to be some of the first volunteer boots on the ground as we installed two brand-new corrals on eleven campsites. This restoration project has been made possible through our fundraising efforts and obtaining funds from the Utah Department of Outdoor Recreation and Washington County RAP Tax grants. This significant milestone is the first of many steps to come in the Pine Valley Equestrian Campground restoration project.
Volunteer support is an essential part of meeting our labor-in-kind commitment requirements associated with these grants. With your help, we can fulfill the grant obligations and continue making progress toward restoring this cherished campground.
