About the event
The Forsyth Fire in the summer of 2025 burned 15,675 acres and destroyed and our beloved Pine Valley Equestrian Campground. The restoration work and planning have been underway for months and we finally have the opportunity to be some of the first volunteer boots on the ground as we install the brand-new corrals at each of the campsites, thanks to funding from the Utah Department of Outdoor Recreation and Washington County RAP Tax grants. This huge step is the first of things to come for the Pine Valley Equestrian Campground restoration project.
Volunteer help is an essential part of meeting our labor-in-kind requirement commitment with these grants. It's with your assistance that we meet all the requirements for this funding.
The contractor will start grading corral sites on Monday, Oct. 26th through Wednesday, the 28th (weather permitting). These are the dates we need as many volunteers as we can get…
