About the event

We will be trimming back and cleaning up the Duncan Springs Trail. Those without horses will hike 1/2 mile to cut out sage brush and rake out the trail, hikers will need rakes/shovels/hoes and pruners. Those joining with horses will ride approximately 1 and 1/2 miles and cut back the encroaching scrub oak with pruners and hand saws at three separate sections of trail where it is needed.

You will need to bring and pack in your own tools. Please wear a hat & gloves and pack a lunch. The chapter will provide water bottles at the trailhead. Please arrive early so we can give directions and begin work at 10:00 am.

If you have questions, please contact DeAnn Fieselman or Tammy Engeness.
