Chapter Ride - Donut Hole Rock from Red Mtn. Trailhead

The Donut Hole is a lesser-known trail from the Red Mountain Trailhead that winds through the pinion forest and takes you to the beautiful Donut Hole Rock. This ride is for all skill levels and will be followed by a burger burn lunch at the Butterfield Home in Dammeron Valley.

About the event
Meeting at the Red Mountain Trailhead, we will offer two trail options for this ride. The first group will be for all skill levels and led by Lin Hokana and will be a <5 mile, there-and-back ride to the Donut Hole Rock. The second group will be led by Doug West and will also visit the Donut Hole Rock but will continue and complete a 5.5 mile technical loop trail back the the trailhead. Everyone needs to be saddled and ready to ride at 10:00 a.m., the technical group will leave the trailhead first. Jarice Butterfield has offered to host a burger burn and potluck at her home in Dammeron Valley at 1:00 pm. Address is 526 Meadow Drive, Dammeron Valley.
